XIVo international ex-tempore of ceramics Technique: all ceramic techniques Theme: free choice Time of production: March to 1st June 2013 Size: up to 100 cm Weight: portable (not more than 20 kg) Composition: maximum of three pieces Marking: the mark EX 2013 cut in fresh clay and the author’s initials or personal mark. Each participant may hand in only one work; a composition may consist of three pieces (a photograph or sketch must be included). For the initial selection, the work must be photographed from at least three basic angels, 5 photos in JPG, TIF or RAW format (minimum 1000 pix per side). Title of work, the dimensions, technique, price and customary data must be attached (name and surname, exact address, telephone number and e-mail address). - International porcelain creation competition - Limoges (France) 2013-2014 |

The City of Limoges is preparing the third edition of its International porcelain creation competition. All pieces created will be exhibited during summer 2014 at the Limoges Town Hall. There are two prizes to be won in this competition. First prize is 10,000 euros, and second prize is 5,000 euros. The competition’s rules and regulations, along with an application form, can be downloaded as of today on the City of Limoges’s website www.ville-limoges.fr (in the “news” section). The Town Council of l’Alcora announces its call for entries for the 33rd International Ceramics Competition CICA2013, organised by a Committee designated to that effect. All participants are entitled to present a maximum of two works of art created with ceramic materials, which must be original and unique. Entries created by non ceramic procedures, works of an industrial nature or those who have entered in another competitions will not be admitted. Entries must be sent either by post (to Museu de Ceràmica, calle Teixidors 5, E12110 l’Alcora - Spain) or by e-mail museu@alcora.org before March 22nd, 2013. They must all include a properly completed application form, the author or author’s curriculum vitae and 3 images of each work, either printed or in jpg format. Finalist entries must be sent to the Museu de Ceràmica de l’Alcora before May 12th, 2013. Those works which break this term will be excluded from the competition.
